I think I have the school situation solved. It'll make for a long Monday, but I actually think this will work better than our original plan. I would have preferred a little more notice and less last-minute scrambling, but such is life.
I'm now taking a Monday morning class, something about health and safety. It should actually be a lot less work for me since I've got this subject down, lol. Special Ed would have been a whole new ball game for me, lol. I'm hoping to learn some things I can impart to the masses too about nutrition in this new class. It also means the kids will be in regular school on campus, something Winnie and Finn are happy about because it means Mr. Paul! And Ms. Winnie! Zella I'm not so sure about. The draw for her was that she'd be with Winnie and Finn. That's changed so we'll see how it goes. This new schedule will mean we leave the house by 8:45 Monday morning, me and kids in school, dh has to be ready for work. Kids will go to child care, dh and Oak will occupy themselves (I suggested he hang out with the baby in the student center and check out the hot college chicks that babies always draw ;o) ) and I will attend class. The kids will have lunch at school then we'll all get back together and take dh to work. This also means I have to pick dh up at 11 from work, making for quite the day. On the plus side, the book I need is available for check out saving me over $100. Wahoo!
We have to go to campus today to re-do paperwork and change the schedule with the kids so we have a bit of work to do on dh's day off. Poor dh :heavy sarcasm:.
So, here we go. Off to the races.
I'll post later about dh's work party and the outfit I'm putting together. Thanks in large part to Dannielle this is going to be really fun and I think the dress is gorgeous.
