I just brewed an ENTIRE pot of coffee onto the counter. I rinsed the caraffe, poured in the water, changed the filter, added the coffee, closed the lid, pushed the button, left the room. A bit later I smell fresh coffee and stumble into the kitchen only to find the caraffe rinsed, lid off, sitting on the counter, in a pool of coffee. And coffee grounds. I contemplated adding creamer and sucking it off the counter but discarded that idea. Then I contemplated wringing out the coffee-soaked towel into a cup but decided a new pot might be a better idea.
Here's to hoping today gets a whole lot better than it's started.

Ah, I did the SAME thing a few days ago! Thankfully we just have a 1 cup at a time machine (no, not a time-machine, a machine that brews one cup at a time) so I didn't waste too much coffee.
