The days fly by, and fill up fast. Also, GAME ON.

It's a darn good thing I have a calendar/planner to haul around. I'm patting myself on the back for buying the gi-normous pink one so I have a shot at finding it when I need to. One day I look at the week and it's empty. The next monent I've got juggling and scheduling and planning to do to make it all fit. Crazy. Crazy I tell ya. Dh took today off. He requested it a few weeks ago. Much to his boss' amusement we both totally forgot about it, lol. Last night dh called from work and said "did YOU remember I took tomorrow off, because I didn't". Ha! No, I did not. So far this morning we've done nothing. Well, that's not entirely true. We picked a tick off of Oak's head. We each did WiiFit (ow, my legs hurt, lunges are murder) for half an hour. We have 2 Redbox movies for the kids and one Netflix for ourselves. I think today will be "take it easy day" and tomorrow and Friday the chaos reigns.

We have GOT to get something done on this house. Anything. I dont even care what at this point. AN.NY.THING. I sooooooo badly want to paint a room. Our bedroom is nearly ready, would be the easiest though trim and such would need some attention later on. The living room is running a close second but there are more issues. 1 is that we have to use that room so clearing it out would really suck. Second is that I think we were going to orange-peel it and that is a whole other mess. Probably not something we can do tomorrow and Friday.

Toby has a vet appointment Thursday (please let them find something curable). We also have our FIRST CSA PICKUP! Wahoo. There was extra room on the St. Louis truck so we get to go to Tower Grove instead of all the way to Elsa. This could be a regular thing. I hope so! Friday Toby has a grooming appointment. I posted on Craigslist looking for some help. I couldn't afford both a grooming appointment AND a vet appointment but both are desperate needs. He's matted and raw in many places. I think he'd feel much better if he were shaved. A very kind woman in historic St. Charles offered to pamper him for the afternoon and get him shaved. I had been having trouble finding someone to even shave him, much less for a reasonable price. This woman is so generous. She has a soft spot for rescued dogs, works from her home so no crates and added stress, and she promised to be extra gentle with him. I am so in awe of the kindness and generosity she is showing my poor itchy dog. Plus, we get to wander historic St. Charles while we wait, which is something I've been meaning to do anyway.

Dh and I have become incredibly competitive. Why? WiiFit. Oh yeah. Game ON!
