He's mine.

He is officially listed as "adopted" though we haven't brought him home. We'll get him next thursday the thirteenth (spelled since I'm in the dark and can't see the numbers). Photo coming, when I can find the card reader for the camera memory card.

Pupper is a brindle color of browns and blacks. I was doing some research online and cannot find any reference to a brindle like that in a Giant Schnauzer. I think, from looking online, that he is a Bouvier des Flandres, which gets a big old ROCK ON from me. They're fantastic dogs and an absolute dream to be able to share my home with one. It' still possible that he's a Schnoodle or maybe a plain old Giant Schnauzer. It's hard to tell with puppy fuzz and floppiness. He's stinking adorable, I know that much. We're ready for him, got a crate, leash, toys, etc... On tap for the weekend is cleaning my room, working on the bedrooms the children occupy, maybe decluttering some toys.

Happy Birthday to my Finn! He's six today and we had a fantastic day playing. We ended with his requested dinner, shrimp, which only he ate since the rest of us cannot tolerate shrimp, and brownies for dessert. I used the muffin papers to make a dozen brownie muffins and they turned out so well I think I will do them like that all of the time.

The Legend of Zelda Twilight something or rather is a cool game, if only dh would listen when I read to him from the cheat website that explains how it's done, lol. He's much too in a hurry to do it properly. That's annoying when you're a level ahead of him in reading. Yes, I know this is not how games should be played, but watching is boring. This is my only way to participate, lol. I think this may be a game purchased, unless dh can defeat it in hours of mindless playing before it goes back to the video store. Judging by the hours of play already today, finishing in a week is a possibility.

Ok, definitely NOT plain, lol. Julie, have you ever seen or heard of a cinnamon/black brindle schnauzer? I'm really thinking he's a Bouvier but I'm certainly NOT an expert, lol. If I post a picture would you be able to help me figure out if he's Schnauzer? I'd really like to pinpoint his breed as close as possible.

There use to be black and brown giants but there was a big uproar over them and they have not been an official color for years. I have some pictures of them someplace that I could email you. What part of the country are you in? There are also cream colored giants, black and silver ones, etc. I am having some computer monitor problems just so you know. You can email me from my blog if you want.
