It is official. There is no such thing as a Giant Schnauzer that is brindle in color. It is still theoretically possible that he is a Giant Schnauzer mix with something that could be brindle, but I am quite sure he is a Bouvier. On one hand, this is thrilling. I could never afford a Bouvier, they're fantastic family dogs, and they like to lay around in the house (cold feet, you know, need a foot warmer kind of dog) and play like puppies when they're out. On the other hand, we're looking at a 70lb MINIMUM if he's pure Bouvier. Whoa. Big doggie. Here's pics, dog people feel free to chime in with a breed identification.

My guess would be Bouvier or Bouvier mix. I have a Giant Schnauzer. They come in black or salt/pepper or black silver. He sure is cute though!
