Get it? Heh, I'm so clever. I thought I'd post some random pictures and comments since it's late and I don't really have the ability to think. This pic is of my house in it's current state. See my bed? The dropoff is to the main floor of my house. This was taken yesterday. Today there is a stud wall there instead of the temporary railing. Tomorrow we start the bathroom which means tons of fun shopping for tub, toilet, vanity, mirror, lighting, flooring, etc... .

This pictures is of the sweetest two year old on the planet. She's also the most obnoxious, smart, whiny, creative, clingy, clever, screechy, beautiful two year old on the planet. Can you say no to that face?

Let's see, what else is on here? This is granny who will be 101 years old in October. Zellie is on her lap at her 2nd birthday. Boy, Zella sure has grown! Granny is just within the past year seeming old. She had been chipper and spry and a memory like a sponge but age has finally caught up to her and she doesn't remember stuff like she used to. She's very sweet and we treasure each day with her knowing it will probably end very soon. Of course, the family has been saying "you have to come to Christmas this year, it might be Grandma's last" for 25 years, lol.

For those wondering, we did fix the YMCA issue. They squeezed both kids into another class and switched Zella too, so no real harm done. I'm pretty annoyed with their "cancel at the last minute" policy but what can I do. That place is poorly run, IMO, but there just isn't an alternative. I'm still learning the ropes as far as hwo to get what I need from them. Talking to the front desk folks gets you a much different answer than talking to just about anyone else.
Speaking of the YMCA. Does anyone have a carseat they're getting rid of, or perhaps anyone who'd be willing to pitch in some money to buy a carseat for someone? There is this very sweet mama at the YMCA who has a baby who is in what is CLEARLY a very old seat. Not only that, but I don't think they actually strap the baby into it. It's not a five point belt and it just is not right. I'd love to show her how to use a seat properly and give her one. Thinking out loud here. She speaks very choppy and heavily accented english. The baby is the same age as Oakinky so we chat when we see each other. I think she just either doesn't know how to use a seat correctly or she can't afford one. I really wish I could help her.
