So I missed a day...

But I have a good excuse. Neall was hogging the computer doing his homework. Seeing as how that is way more important than my personal challenge, I didn't post yesterday. Anyway, on to more important musings.

Are you a list maker? I am. I have to be. I gave half my brain to each of my children. Seeing as how I have 4 children, well, you do the math. What was I saying? Oh yeah, lists. I have to make lists or I miss things like "eat breakfast" and "take a shower". You know you're a HARD CORE list maker when your daily list includes "make tomorrow's to-do list". I thought about taking a picture of my to-do list and posting it (mostly to figure out how to post a picture) but "unload memory card" isn't on today's list. Perhaps tomorrow...

On another note, how many days in a row can one woman eat the black bean corn salad stuff before she gets sick of it? We're on day 4, seriously, and haven't reached saturation yet. I'll keep you updated.

Keep fingers crossed for our YMCA membership application for financial assistance to go through. I am dreaming of a few days of summer camp for the kids, some free time with my 2 younger kids, and a chance to get the kids swim lessons without me having to go back and forth to the Y several days a week all summer. I'd much rather do the camp thing than try to coordinate swim lessons for all 3 kids. Zella and I will have to take a mama and me class. My plan is to get dh to ride his bike while the rest of us are at the Y, weather permitting. Or maybe he'll want to work out as well. At any rate, we need some summer fitness so cross your fingers.

And while we have our fingers crossed, hope for a job offer for dh too. The company he interviewed with has hired 3 of Neall's classmates. They were interviewing for "3, maybe 4 positions" so we're hoping for a call from them. Honestly, it's not his dream job, but it's good money and a job offer would boost Neall's confidence even if he doesn't accept it. I'm thinking he'd accept it, but still. If dh gets a job far away I'm buying him a Mini Cooper. He deserves it and with gas at $3/gallon or more it would be dumb for him to have the minivan to go back and forth.
