I should have known that by clicking the link I would be dooming myself to hours and hours of maddening, seemingly endless fun. Weffriddles. 'Nuff said. In one entire day (well, except for the several hours that my friend Dawn was here) I got to number 18. That's all. Crazy. That was only WITH the help of the web-forums dedicated to this game. The trouble is, the forums aren't terribly helpful. They have a "no spoiler" rule and the moderators regularly delete hints or snippets of hints from the posts claiming them to be "spoilers". IMO, a hint IS a spoiler if it's a good one. Barring handing over the answer in "the answer is ________" format, any hint should be allowed. I happened to catch a hint before it was deleted as a spoiler and STILL had no clue what I was doing for that puzzle. Another hint on another riddle was NOT considered a spoiler (since it was several days old) and that's all it took to get me to the answer. It was simplly a good hint. So I say to the Weffriddles team, LIGHTEN UP! Sometimes a really good hint only seems like a spoiler because you already know the answer.
On another more domestic note, can someone please explain to me why my marshmallow treats (like rice crispy treats except I always use corn flakes) always stick to the waxed paper? Is there another way to do this without dirtying an other pan? I even oil the waxed paper and still we're picking tiny pieces of waxed paper from our mangled treats because they are stuck solid in a sticky mess. It's almost more maddening than the Weffriddles!
