Tis the season.

Student loan season that is. It's almost like waiting for Christmas morning when you're 7. I keep checking my account to see if it's there yet. It's even more like Christmas because you have no idea how much it will be for. Personally, I think that's a load of crap but that's how this school does it. By next semester I'll be at a 4-year college and they disclose those numbers well ahead of time so you can, like, plan. As it stands it could be $500, it could be $5000. Who knows. So I wait until student-loan-morning to open the gift of loaned money and see how much is there. Until then, I scrounge for change in the couch cushions ;o).

On another topic, watching people running in slo-mo is just odd. It's a good thing we don't have the ability to slow down like that in real life. It's not pretty. Who knew lips were so flappy, tongues loll, and arm muscles jiggle like that? And, these people are ATHLETES. Imagine what MY soggy existence would look like running in slow motion. Oh the horror. I'll stick with the "tired mama" speed on the dials I think.
