Ok, maybe not.

The consensus is that there is not enough to do at the MOA. I'm sick of this vacation planning thing. I'm so sick of it that I need a vacation to get away from it. See what I mean? So I am liking the "local vacation" thing. We could go do all this stuff we never do, or only rarely do, locally. And maybe Neall and I could even have a nice evening ALONE for a change. Heh, like that'll happen, lol. I could spend that money on camping equipment EASY. That's an idea.

So the weather has turned in true Missouri style. The ice and sleet are in a lull but the big snow is on the back side of this storm. We're expecting up to ten inches tomorrow. Many schools are closed already. I'm resisting the urge to call in to the local stations and declare that the West Family Home School is closed. Wouldn't that be fun? The kids complain that their school isn't closed because they don't have one. They miss that childhood pasttime of watching the screen, hopeful that school will be closed for the day. I told them they were the lucky ones. Their school gets closed on NICE days when I kick them outside to play the whole day.

Finn got a scooter for his birthday (party last night) and hs been driving it around the house, much to my annoyance. Please let the sun come out. Soon.
