I'm supposing this is due to the sinus infection, eardrum perforation, lack of ability to smell, hear, or taste anything. Woo-hoo! SparkPeople should be happy. I did eat Twix for breakfast, but I didn't enjoy them.
We've got granny duty tomorrow. I wish I was feeling better. We should make quite the pair, neither of us can hear a thing. Should be fun. Oh to be a fly on the wall... .
Did anyone figure out Oak's new trick? He can WAVE! Haha! My little baby boy can wave on command, usually when someone else is doing it. Those deep eyes stare at your fingers studying the movement, then flit to his own fingers, and suddenly they follow his mental command and wiggle too! The grin on his face when it works is the frosting to such a sweet milestone.
I was reading on a website about how egg yolk is good for little babies first food. I thought, hey why not, so I tried it. No go. He spit them out. So much for that idea. He ate about 1/3 can of peas earlier today without spitting even one out so I'm thinking he just doesn't like egg. Perhaps it's the way I cooked it. I think I'll hard boil an egg tomorrow and see if he likes it that way. If not we'll move on.
Well, it's late and I need to get my couch/bed set so I can try to sleep. Coughing is my new symptom tonight. Not sure what triggered it but cough drops are going to be my best friend.
