So the thus far elusive white spots have finally appeared on Winnie's throat. She can hardly eat applesauce. She actually asked for water to drink "because it will help her get healthy faster". See, them hur homskoold kids do lurn sumpin at hom! Sorry, been battling "but homeschool is so inferior" lately. I digress. So Neall says "she needs to go to the doctor". I say "I agree". He says "make an appointment". I say "In my spare time???". He says "what's the latest tonight". I call doc. They say "5pm". I book it. I say "can you leave at 4?" He says "nope, we're really busy". I say well then, tomorrow is not an option either so wtd?". Finally, this goes on for a bit and I figure the kids shouldn't be in gymnastics and swim lessons anyway. Winnie certainly shouldn't be. I don't want to occupy 1 sick child, one bored toddler, and one infant for 2 hours while Finn goes. Plus, we have granny too. Plus, I don't want to take all 4 kids to the doctors office alone. So tomorrow is out unless I do a ton of juggling, which I'm not inclined to do. The decision is to take her to urgent care tonight after Neall gets home, allowing me to leave other children behind and focus on Winnie. Urgent care will be a 3-hour production but my other options are not better. The next decision is wtd about Granny tomorrow. I'm inclined to go but the motivation is the $$. We were counting on it for gas, thus there isn't any money unless I go. I don't want to get Granny sick though, and unnecessarily torture Winnie. Sigh.
And Wii-watch 2007 (Ellen watch wasn't as catchy) has nothing new to report. C'mon Ellen, I need your help!
