I lurve homeschooling.

Today my kids are:

counting clouds
playing in mud (did you know that dirt and water make mud?)
"painting" with water on the driveway, making footprints
making their own eggs for breakfast
putting together their own black bean salsaish lunch (did you know that corn is a bunch of little pieces all stuck together onto one cob?)
this evening we'll go to the Y for showers (bringing me to my next paragraph)

I have no way to bathe. So, the kids are scrubbing up in the sprinkler. I'm tempted to join them since I haven't had a bath in like 3 days. Hopefully tonight there will be water so I can at least soak in the bathtub, but I'm not holding my breath. This remodeling stuff is a b!tch. But, with the old bathroom coming out as we speak I am again revived with the view of the potential my house has. I'm going to love my house. Right now I hate it, but I'm not worried. It will be great.

I'll make a seperate post regarding Winnie's birthday party/Amity campout 07. I'm planning a lollipop princess party. Camping is optional but recommended. The site is a stellar one most of you have been to before. It's VERY family friendly so if you have youngsters who like to run I think you'll be pleasantly surprised at the relaxation you'll achieve here. Ooooh, maybe I shouldn't post details to a public blog huh? So, I'll be emailing, lol. Any ideas for a lollipop princess party? I have some plans already, but more are welcome. So far we're:

having a lollipop hunt
making lollipop wands

As you can see, I need a few more ideas. I was thinking of making a couple of giant lollipops to stick in the ground as decorations. Since this is outdoors, plese pray for decent weather. I don't have a backup plan. We're camping rain or shine. I'd prefer shine in the 70's.
