Dh is on to week 2 of his new job. In true Neall fashion he is feeling like he should be progressing more quickly, blah blah blah. He's been told by his immediate supervisor that he's doing fine, so why can't dh just believe him and keep up the good work? Oh well, not my problem, lol. I hope he can just relax and get into the groove.
Dh's new dilemma is a toughie. I have no say in the matter, and I really don't mind either way. In our garage is a 1984 toyota pickup truck. Well, the pieces and parts are in there. It's not put together at all. Dh has been meaning to have it put together for years but we've not had the money. He wants to put in a diesel engine and run it on used vegetable oil. I tink this is a great idea. The other option (and the tough decision) is that he really wants a Mini Cooper. I LOVE the Mini and would have no trouble looking at one parked in my driveway ;). I figure we'd spend about the same amount of money on each of these options. It's totally up to him. The truck is slightly more tricky since we have to find someone to put it together and make all sorts of decisions about what parts and all, but really the 2 options are a toss-up. I really don't care either way. I think that's what's annoying dh, lol. He's not one for making decisions. I'll keep you updated.
I'm considering a plan to wean my youngest daughter. Zella is truly making me despise tandem nursing. She screams and cries all day for milkie. She gets attitude and squealy and makes me downright nuts. Once she's on there she won't come off. If she's off the boob she's crying that she wants more milkie. She's just in a constant state of unhappiness unless she's attached to me, and then *I* am unhappy. Most of the tricks I know for weaning won't work since I'm also nursing Oak. I can't say "milkie is all gone" for example. So, my idea is to put something that doesn't taste good on my nip before nursing Zella. I can wash whatever it is off before nursing Oak. I figure it'll either work quickly or she'll nurse anyway. My thought is that if she nurses through a nasty flavor (I'm thinking either something sour or that bitter stuff you put on fingernails to stop biting them) then she needs to nurse more than I need her to NOT nurse and we'll just keep surviving until she's ready. If she's ready, this should work. I'm hoping there isn't a flaw in my plan. I really would love to have a moment to myself now and again.

so which is it? vinegar-boobs or lemon-tits?
I'd go for the mini in a second. Environmental stuff aside... That's an OLD truck. YOu could spend all kinds of money on it and then it poops out on ya.
And it wouldn't be nearly as cute.
Well, the 1984-ness of it would just be the body. It would be all brand new everything pretty much. It would LOOK like the truck in Back To The Future, but would have a new engine and everything. It would also be 4wd which could come in handy. Dh would like to venture back into the world of off-roading.
We shall see what he decides.
I'd go for the truck. Trucks are so useful, and biodiesel is cool!
