The effect "Finding Nemo" has on a girl

He did it, he did it, oh yeah-yeah-yeah, we're eating every night, oh we're eating every night, oh we're eating every night he got the JOB yeah. This is running through my head. I'm a freak, I know it.

So, the offer has been accepted, the drug screen done (talk about a fiasco), the physical performed. We're waiting to hear officially that he passed the drug screen (no doubts there) and the physical (no doubts here either, just need to hear it officially). Once that happens we have some questions, not the least of which are "when is the first paycheck" lol. We also have no idea what he is supposed to wear, whether they provide safety glasses or if dh needs to order some with his prescription, if they have direct deposit (not terribly important but we would like to know), and a few other things I can't think of off the top of my head. Time for a list! Hee-hee. He has to be there at 6:30 Monday morning, ouch! Luckily that will not be the normal schedule.

So many phone calls to make this week to try to keep everything on just until that first paycheck (and the second one as well since we're that far behind, lol). Did you know that if you carry a negative balance for too long the bank will close your account? Neither did I, so that's my first call, lol. Luckily this is a credit union and should be fairly easy to work with. I'm hoping that with the knowledge that money will be coming in very soon they can work with us. Here's to hoping.

My dad comes to visit us tomorrow and Wednesday on his way through town. Since this is the 4th of July week we are considering an outing to watch fireworks but with a forecast of mid 90's I'm not sure I'm game. The place we'd like to go is really fun but you have to get there early and sit around. On one hand, sitting and picnicing dinner, a nice bottle of wine, watching the kids play in the fountain or on the playground sounds nice, but adding the high temp (with our signature high humidity) and suddenly it doesn't sound quite as nice. We shall see.

On Tuesday we are starting the Y Personal Fitness program. This is a 12 week class including visits with a personal trainer, nutritionist, etc... . You meet 4 times over 12 weeks to discuss your goals and how you're doing meeting them. You also committ to working out 3 times/week. Not sure how that will work but here's hoping, lol. I like the idea of being accountable to some big body-builder guy, lol. I also like that they help you come up with a fitness plan that you can actually do. I'm clueless about all of the machines in the fitness center, how they work, how many reps to do, how to know if it's enough or too much. This is where Chris the fitness guy comes in. Chris will help me. And I love the idea that Dh and I can do this together.

That's about it I think. I'm shocked the internet kept up with me this long. Usually it's popping off about every 2 minutes or so. Makes it hard to do anything when that's happening. Toodles friends.
