Hello. I want to be a more prolific blogger, I just can't seem to find it in me. I doubt anyone is even reading anyway, lol. I'm inspired by a couple of blogging friends though. I hope to do more blogging in the near future. It's on my to do list.
The baby, who arrived on April 14, is a dream. If he were twins I'd be totally able to handle it. It was an ideal home water birth, perhaps I'll post my birth story when it is finished. He's snuggled into the Amby Hammock right now, swaddled tightly in the quilt my good friend Dannielle made him. It's scrumptious, truly a treasure. Winnie and Finn are adjusting to the baby well. Zella is another issue but we're working on it. She loves the baby but is very sensitive to the fact that sometimes he needs to nurse. She'd be latched on all day if I'd let her. I won't let her, lol.
I was lucky and had help for the first week and a half here at home. Now that help is gone I'm tired but managing to maintain some semblence of order here at home. Helps that this baby lets me put him down.
I got a new wardrobe yesterday. Well, some nursing pads (desperately needed), a couple of really awesomely cool skirts, a pile of prefold diapers (not wardrobe but still cool). We had a sewing day at Dannielle's house and it was super fun and totally productive.
Today, when dh gets home from his interview, I need to run some errands to buy new diapers for the babe. Can you say MAMA TIME! I might stop for a caffeine free diet coke with chocolate syrup while I'm at it. Don't blech it till you try it. Yummy! If I had money I'd make a stop at the thrift store too. Perhaps...
Well, mama time over for now, baby is up!
